Dawnde Pence Dawnde Pence has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years and is currently the Special Investigative Unit Manager for the Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club. During her career, she has handled property and casualty claims in both personal and commercial markets. She was also a Property Claims Examiner supervising large Property losses and complex claims. Before moving into management, she was a Special Investigations Unit Senior investigator for 14 years, receiving Property Insurance Investigator of the Year in 2004 from the Southern California Chapter IASIU. She achieved her CPCU designation in 2007 after receiving her Senior Claims Law Associate in 2001 and Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator designation in 1999. Dawnde actively participates in Industry organizations where she served as a Chapter Board member of the IASIU Southern California chapter for 12 years, 2 of which she was President. Dawnde is currently as President of the California Combined Claims Conference Committee and actively participates in Department of Insurance meetings in several states including California and Texas.
