Nicholas George Deputy District Attorney Nicolas George joined the Insurance Fraud Unit in September 2023, and has worked for the OCDA since January 2020. Mr. George currently handles both workers’ compensation applicant and provider fraud cases, and is a member of SCFIA. Prior to starting in the Insurance Fraud Unit, Mr. George tried 16 criminal jury trials, drafted and litigated motions, and conducted dozens of preliminary hearings. Before joining the OCDA, Mr. George worked as a civil litigator for more than five years; his practice area focused primarily on product liability and catastrophic injury, which included complex, multiscript litigations involving multiple defendants, voluminous e-discovery, and fraudulent representation and consumer protection claims. Mr. George also conducted opposing party, expert, person most knowledgeable, and third-party witness depositions.
