Dr. Levin attended medical school on a full academic scholarship at Virginia Commonwealth University. He then completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Michigan in 2007, and a pain medicine fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008. Currently, he is a member of both the departments of orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery at Stanford University, where he also serves as the director of the PM&R interventional spine fellowship and the interim director of the PM&R residency program. Dr. Levin has authored over 35 peer reviewed articles and 3 book chapters, he is an interventional spine instructor on the national level, and he is triple board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
