Dennis Toomey (GIFS) Dennis is the Founder and President of the Global Insurance Fraud Summit. He is considered an international subject matter expert in counter-fraud, with deep domain knowledge across the Insurance Industry. As a Director within the Insurance Fraud and Financial Crimes Practice at PwC he works with customers across the globe. He has more than 3 decades of experience implementing and operationalizing counter-fraud and compliance technology, analytics, and processes.
Dennis’ industry experience includes Law Enforcement, Head of Fraud at a top 5 Global Insurance Company, Product Manager and Data and Analytics lead with some of the top companies across the globe. He brings his passion, experience, and knowledge to engage with industry leaders as a trusted advisor and partner across the globe.
In addition to his role as President and Founder of the Global Insurance Fraud Summit he co-chairs the Associate Members Committee and sits on the Government Affairs committee for the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Scrum Master, and Certified Metaverse Expert. He has published several white papers and thought leadership articles relating to the Evolution of Insurance Fraud and Analytics as well as Transnational Organized Crime.
