Chad Brown

As a Special Agent with the National Insurance Crime Bureau for the past five years, he assists Member Companies and law Enforcement during investigations involving vehicle fraud, arson, owner give-ups, vehicle theft for profit, Chop Shops, and organized groups involved in VIN switching.  He currently is a Berla Certified Vehicle Forensic Examiner and Vehicle Technician. Chad is attached to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Theft Crimes Bureau, V.I.P.E.R. (Vehicle Investigations Project for the Enforcement and Recovery) Auto Theft Task Force. 

Chad Graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a BA in Criminal Justice in 1995.  Attended Washington State Criminal Justice Training Undercover School and was in Law Enforcement in Las Vegas for over twenty-two years. His past assignments include eight years as the Sergeant in charge of the V.I.P.E.R. (Vehicle Investigations Project for the Enforcement and Recovery) Auto Theft Task Force where he supervised the Vehicle/Moped BAIT Program and all undercover, and covert operations. Chad was also a detective in the Gang Crimes Section for over six years investigating all Gang motivated crimes and his assignments included Gang Enforcement, Investigations, Intelligence and TFO on the ATF/Violent Crime Impact Team.
