Bill King

Bill King has spent a 22-year career in the insurance and legal industry providing forensic consulting and expert-witness services. He is the President of Impact General, Inc. a forensic engineering and science firm and has been in that position since 1997.

He is the Director of the National Institute of Forensic Studies, a national-seminar provider offering technical training for claims, legal and forensic professionals.

In 2009 Mr. King founded Impact General Appraisers, an automotive-appraisal firm serving the insurance industry in Southern California.

His professional status and involvement in the insurance industry and professional organizations includes numerous publications, seminar speaker and board member of various associations. He served as the Western Regional Director of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals. Currently he is the sub-chairman for ANSI Standard B-101.3 relating to floor-safety analyses.

Recently Bill King joined forces with Johnson Forensic Lab to create and bring to market the GS-1 tribometer that uses a patented and physics-based approach to measuring coefficient of friction of any hard walkway surface.
