Mr. Jay Bobrowsky is a Senior Vice President of Special Investigations for the California State Compensation Insurance Fund – (State Fund). He’s responsible for State Fund’s Anti-Fraud Strategy along with other State Fund department responsibilities. He represents State Fund on the California Fraud Assessment Commission (FAC), and he also currently serves as the FAC Chair. Mr. Bobrowsky has been an active member of the Anti-Fraud Alliance (AFA) since 1995, and he is the AFA Past President (2018-2024). He also serves on the Global Insurance Fraud Summit (GIFS) Executive Committee, and he presents at the annual summits internationally.
He has over 30 years of diverse experience in both law enforcement and in insurance fraud investigations. At Liberty Mutual Insurance, Mr. Bobrowsky was awarded their highest honor, “the Chairman’s Award” for his work on a complex and high exposure workers’ compensation investigation. He is a frequent presenter on various aspects of the detection, investigation and prosecution of insurance fraud including workers’ compensation claims, personal automobile claims, and property claims.
