Erik Passoja is Co-Chair of SAG-AFTRA’s New Technology Committee and founder of ProofGen. A veteran technologist with expertise in digital identity and patents pending in digital identity systems, he is an active contributor to the C2PA global standards for media authenticity.
Erik’s approach is grounded in field research, having conducted over 100 discovery interviews across the ecosystem—including 27 interviews with SIU investigators and law enforcement at the 2025 Anti-Fraud Conference. His work focuses on translating new legislative mandates and technical protocols into binary verification solutions specifically designed for insurance claims fraud prevention.
