Building a Criminal Case in Public Works Fraud: Case Anatomy

In this session, we will explore the relationship between wage theft, tax evasion, penal code violations, workers compensation fraud and how to use collaborative agencies to build a criminal case. A retired Sr. Deputy District Attorney, current Deputy District Attorney and the executive Director of the Center for Contract Compliance will utilize examples of past and current case trends to show how and where to get relevant evidence and how it fits together for a prosecutable case.
