
Ivonne Reyes joined the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) 6 years ago. Prior to this SA Reyes held various positions in the insurance industry mostly specific to personal auto claims. She worked at 21st Century Ins, AIG, Farmers, Alliance United, Kemper and Auto Club of Southern California. She is currently a Special Agent Program Coordinator for the West Region in the Los Angeles Medical Task Force where the focus of her investigations is on medical fraud and organized ring activity, which includes body shops.
SA Reyes has a bachelor’s degree in science agriculture specific to Agribusiness from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, P.R. During the 26 years of working in the insurance industry SA Reyes held various positions such as a casualty adjuster, subrogation adjuster/supervisor, MP/PIP unit manager, Sr. SIU investigator and auditor. SA Reyes is a board member of the IASIU Golden Pacific Chapter, holding a position as a director. This chapter was formed in July 2023. She is also a member of IAFCI (International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators). In the past she was a member of the Arbitration Forums, where she also served as an arbitrator. She has a CIFI certification (Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator) from IASIU (International Association of Special Investigation Units.
