Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) Octavio Sanchez is currently assigned to the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) Office of Foreign Operations, where he leads a specialized team dedicated to investigating international vehicle theft and fraud. With extensive experience in bi-national vehicle crime investigations, SSA Sanchez has played a key role in training numerous law enforcement agencies in the United States and Mexico.
Before joining NICB, SSA Sanchez served for 29 years with the California Highway Patrol, where he developed deep expertise in complex vehicle related crimes. His distinguished career reflects a commitment to combating transnational vehicle fraud and theft through collaboration, training and investigative excellence.
