Erik Williams Eric Williams currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Northern Operations and Training for the California Department of Insurance – Fraud Division. In this position, he is responsible for the overall management of the Sacramento, Golden Gate, Silicon Valley, and Central Valley Regional Offices; as well as the Enforcement Tactics Training Unit, the Field Training Officer program, and the Enforcement Branch Headquarters Training Unit. Eric began his career at CDI in 2002 as a Detective in both the Silicon Valley and Golden Gate Regional Offices, where he worked on various organized auto fraud, arson, and auto theft taskforces. He has also served as a Detective Sergeant in the Golden Gate Regional Office, the Detective Sergeant of the Enforcement Tactics Training Unit, the Captain of the Enforcement Branch Training Unit, and the Captain of the Golden Gate Regional Office.
